Corrado Giuliano mainly acts in the field of administrative, environmental, energy, civil, commercial, labour and trade union law.

For over 30 years he has defended in legal actions in the field of the environment on behalf of energy companies, trade unions and organizations for the conservation of the environment on a regional and national level before the TAR ( Regional Administrative Court) of Catania, Palermo, Lazio, the Consiglio di Giustizia Amministrativa of the Sicilian Region, the Consiglio di Stato, the Court of Auditors, the Court of Appeal, the Corte Costituzionale and the EC Court of Justice. He has also gained expertise in the field of banking, cultural heritage, urban planning, waste management, public works and energy law. In particular he has taken care of the transfer, sale and lease of business sectors of important Italian companies with their headquarters or branches within the territory of Sicily and Calabria.

From 1967 to 1976, during high school and Law university, Corrado Giuliano worked together with illustrious names such as Prof. Santi Luigi Agnello, Professor of Ancient Archaeology; the archaeologist Efisio Picone; Prof. Gioacchino Gargallo, Professor of History of Historiography, also manager of the archaeological team "Pericle Ducati". He also took part in the movement for the awareness and study of the conservation of the historical centres of Siracusa and Agrigento, besides the safeguard of important archeological areas in the south-east of Sicily (Cava d'Ispida, Cozzo Pantano, Monasteri, the archaeological area of Neapolis).

From 1974 to 1990 he studied in depth the regulations for the Sicilian historical centres of Ortigia and Agrigento, following the passage of the law for the organic safeguard (L.R> 70/76) and its implementation. He also gave his expert legal advise on this subject to the local and regional press.

From 1979 to 1985 he worked on the regional antismog regulations, as an appointed lawyer in the most important civil administrative and criminal actions of the Sicilian Region regarding the application of the laws in force on the antismog topic within the industrial sites of Siracusa and Gela. From 1980 to 1990 he gained expertise on the regional regulations regarding parks and nature reserves taking part as an appointed lawyer to the most important litigation before the TAR of Catania and Palermo. He took care of the operation opposing the attempt to cancel the decrees for the foundation of parks and nature reserves in Sicily. From 1985 to 1995 his interest towards the Sicilian regulations regarding urban act of idemnity included lectures but also the administrative and criminal actions in front of the Corte Costituzionale  and in favour of the application in Sicily of the Galasso decree for the safeguard of the landscape. He has also opposed Sicilian public works that violated the law for environmental safeguards. Since the mid 1990's he is part of the defense council formed to oppose the construction of the bridge over the Straits of Messina.

Corrado Giuliano, in the interest of environmental organizations, has taken care of administrative actions in the fields of environment, cultural heritage, parks and nature reserves, public works and tenders, civil protection, building act of idemnity and planning deeds, before the TAR of Sicily in the sections of Palermo and Catania, of Lazio, the Consiglio di Stato and the Consiglio di Giustizia Amministrativa for the Sicilian Region, the Court of Appeal and the Corte Costituzionale.

As a pro bono consultant he has taken part in the publishing of Landscape plans for the Sicilian Region defending environmental organizations, before the TAR of Catania, of Lazio, the Consiglio di Stato, the Consiglio di Giustizia Amministrativa of the Sicilian Region, the Corte Costituzionale in favour and against public and private parties.

From 1980 to 1993 he was a member of the Control Committee for the Province of Siracusa (Comitato Regionale di Controllo nella Regione Sicilia), taking care mainly of the legitimacy of the actions of Towns, Provinces, Consortiums of Towns, Consortiums of Land Reclamation Authorities and of health institutions in the field of public works, public employment, urban planning, tenders and environment.

From 1988 to 1992 he was the Director of the Magazine "Toga Verde- Diritto e Ambiente", part of the Centre for Legal Action of Legambiente in Palermo. From year 2000 to 2002 he was the National President of the Centres for Legal Action of Legambiente.

From 1994 to 1996 he was a Council Member for Public Works, Environment and Urban Patrol for the Local Council of Siracusa.

During seminars, meetings and debates sponsored by the Universities of Catania and Palermo, the Public Services and Environmental Organizations he has given lectures on the binding laws in Sicily, the antismog regulations, unauthorized construction and urban planning.

 Co-author together with Prof. Santi Luigi Agnello, Professor of Ancient Archaeology at Catania University, of the book "I guasti di Siracusa - conversazione sulle vicende dell'urbanistica siracusana", Teti Editor, 2001, and of various papers in the field of environment and the landscape.

 In 1985 he founded "Fedro", a Legal Information Library, within his own practice and linked to the Regional Library System. The Library holds papers of all environmental trials held in Sicily since 1979 and sponsored by the firm, and is also acquiring important evidence of the urban planning history of Siracusa.

He graduated in Law at Catania University in 1973 with a dissertation on urban law in metropolitan areas. He became a lawyer in 1976, a member of the Bar of Siracusa in 1981 and a qualified Appeal Court lawyer in 1990.
